☕ General Brewing Basics (Read This First)

Coffee to Water Ratio
A great starting point for most methods:

  • 1:16 (1 gram coffee : 16 grams water)

Example: 20g coffee → 320g water

Grind Size Matters

  • Too fine = bitter, harsh

  • Too coarse = sour, weak

Water Quality
Use filtered water when possible. Coffee is 98% water.

Freshness

  • Grind just before brewing

  • Best flavor: 5–21 days after roast
